Business Portrait

May 8, 2017 by miladmin Leave a Comment

Recently the Rev. Bruce Petty of Today’s Chaplain was in the studio for business portraits.  Bruce had won a free session that we gave away at a Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event and was really excited to come in for his business headshot session in our Lawrenceville studio.   Bruce is an experienced pastor who has begun a ministry to businesses and their employees as a visiting chaplain.  It’s an exciting venture and I’m totally intrigued by this wonderful point of service he has to offer.

Bruce brought in a couple of different outfits that were comfortable and really made him feel good.  We wanted to create portraits that conveyed the experience and skill Bruce brings to his work, but also wanted to have a casual and approachable look to them as well.  I think we hit the mark with these and Bruce was totally pleased.

I’d love to work with you to create a business headshot that tells your story too.  If you need a business portrait in Gwinnett our Lawrenceville portrait studio is convenient or we can come to you if that’s better plan.  So whether you need a business portrait in Suwannee, Snellville or Norcross I do hope you will call on me.

Baseball Action

May 8, 2017 by miladmin Leave a Comment

A lot of my afternoons are spent photographing high school sports action. Here are a few pics from a recent baseball game at Greater Atlanta Christian School. It’s always fun to spend some time in the dugout with these guys and photograph some wonderful baseball action.

Baseball is a challenge to photograph in that it’s really a pretty slow game with short bursts of activity that spreads across the entire diamond. There’s a lot of anticipating where the action is going to move to be able to capture a play as it happens.

Obviously there’s always something going on at home plate as batters each take their turn. I’m constantly watching the pitcher to know exactly when the ball is going to make it to home plate – and I’m hoping the batter is going get a great hit.

Here’s a series of pics as JP hits a homerun and makes his way around the bases to ultimately celebrate with his team-mates.

Thanks guys for having me in the dug-out – it was fun!
